I present to you, this moment of Spongebob Squarepants that often pops into my mind when I have writer’s block and can’t seem to focus:
For context, in the episode titled “Procrastination,” the main character Spongebob has to write an essay for his boating school class and continues to put it off until he eventually sits down in attempt to write it, thinks he’s getting good work done, and then finally picks up his paper to discover that he’s only gotten as far as drawing an elaborate “The.”
As someone who grew up watching Spongebob since 1999 and continues to make references to the show to this day, I chose to make a Spongebob gif using imgflip in honor of Stephen Hillenburg, Spongebob’s creator, who recently passed away at the age 57 due to ALS.
…And also because I currently have a presentation to write and keep not wanting to do it.
